Novak Djokovic's beat Gilles Muller 6-3 6-4 to reach the third round of the BNP Paribas Paris Masters Championship.

    Djokovic, whose world No 1 status is currently under threat from Andy Murray, returned to the tour after a lengthy spell away from the game.

    Looking far from comfortable, he nevertheless beat Luxembourg's Gilles Muller in straight sets, shrugging aside a series of double faults to prevail 6-3 6-4. Novak Djokovic's will play with Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov in third round.
