Tamkeen has offered its strategic sponsorship to Khalid bin Hamad initiatives that are represented with Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls (Khalid 5), which comes within the sports and humanitarian initiatives of His Highness.
Tamkeen CEO Ibrahim Janahi and Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder signed the strategic partnership agreement in the presence of Omar Abdulaziz Bukamal, Head of the Media Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and member of the Supreme Organising Committee.
The minister praised Tamkeen's leading role in developing and empowering national talents.
Janahi expressed his appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities for his continuous efforts and support to the Bahraini youth and sports movement. He also highlighted the ministry's role in organising events that attract Bahraini youth and develop their skills.
It is worth mentioning that Khalid 5 is jointly organised for the fifth consecutive year by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, under the slogan #Generations_Meeting and as part of the initiative of His Highness. Launched on July 24, the league will continue till September 14. It includes 59 teams representing youth centres, local clubs, people with disabilities and girls' teams for the first time.
