Egyptian player of Zamalek football team Ali Fathy stressed that he did not participate in the training with his team upon orders of medical staff, saying that he fells pain in rear muscle due to the increasing pressures and physical overloads. He added that the medical staff decided to give him a break to restore his fitness.
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he subjected to treatment sessions, saying that he was keen to attend the meeting of the club’s Chairperson Mortada Mansour with the players.
He denied what was published over his criticism to the team’s coach, saying that what was published in this regard are unfounded rumors. He expressed his frustration for not participating in the team’s latest match against Aswan in the framework of the Egyptian Premier League.
He blamed the coaching staff for not honoring their promises to provide him with an opportunity during the last matches of the season, saying that he was keen not to express his protest against the decision taken by the coach not to allow him participates with the team during the season.
The player revealed that he received a large number of offers from other teams to join them during the coming season, while he has not taken any decision whether to leave Zamalek or not, expressing his aspiration to find an opportunity to participate with the team to prove his talent.
