Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry condemned the shooting of a security patrol in Luxor, Egypt, which resulted in the death of two people including an officer and injured others.
The Ministry expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims, and its wishes of speedy recovery for all those injured by this criminal act that contradicts all religious, moral and humanitarian principles.
It affirmed Bahrain’s stance in support of Egypt in confronting criminal and terrorist organizations, backing the measures it has taken to maintain security and peace.
The ministry reiterated Bahrain's firm position that rejects violence, extremism and terrorism in all its forms, stressing the need of consolidated regional and international efforts to eliminate this dangerous scourge, its causes and all its supporters.
