Assistant Interior Minister for Administrative Affairs and executive head of Egypt's Hajj mission Sayyed Maher said the mission did not receive any reports on the loss of Egyptian pilgrims while ascending on Mount Arafat this year.
In statements, he said lottery pilgrims in a hurry will be transferred from Mina to their hotels in Mecca in the wee hours of Wednesday after finishing the Stoning of the Devil ritual (Place of Pebbles).
Maher told MENA correspondent in the holy lands on Tuesday that the lottery mission officials will be responsible for moving the pilgrims to Mecca in batches around-the-clock.
