The Turkish ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Murat Tamer hosted hosted a reception at his residence to commemorate the 94th Anniversary of his country’s National Day on 29 October. The guest of honors were the former Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Anas Al-Saleh at the gathering of members of the diplomatic corps, Kuwaiti officials, special invitees and media personnel.
In his speech to the gathering, Minister Anas Al-Saleh lauded the distinguished relationship between Kuwait and Turkey in various fields, particularly the economy. He highlighted the exchange visits by senior officials from the two countries and pointed to the recent visits of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber AlSabah and the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. On his part, the Turkish Ambassador Tamer reiterated the strong Kuwaiti-Turkish relations that have witnessed great development through visits of senior officials from the two sides.
