More than 200 universities and colleges representing 20 plus countries, besides Oman will take part in prestigious education fair scheduled to kick off on Tuesday.
The 16th version of the Global Higher Education Exhibition (Ghedex) and the 16th edition of Omanisation Career Fair (OCF), organised by Oman International Trade and Exhibitions (OITE) will begin on Tuesday at Oman Conventions and Exhibitions Centre under the auspices of Dr. Said bin Hamad Al Rubai’ee, Secretary General of the Education Council.
During Ghedex, scholarships of the Ministry of Higher Education will be announced. Presentations will be made on the internal and external scholarships for diploma and bachelor degrees.
The Omanisation Career Fair (OCF) will host about 50 leading public and private companies. The fair provides opportunities for meeting among recruitment experts, employers and jobseekers to review the available job opportunities for graduates of higher education institutions. It will also provide training opportunities from colleges and training centers inside the Sultanate.
Seminars will be held on the sidelines of the two exhibitions to raise their value and give participants an overview about the important aspects of training and higher education. The exhibitions will also provide a platform for sharing knowledge and experience with visitors.
