Singer Hani Shaker Tuesday was elected chief of musicians syndicate.
Shaker won 1,066 votes, defeating outgoing chief Mostafa Kamel, who got 928 votes and Mounir el Wessemi who got 129 votes.
Also, Alaa Salama, Khaled Bayoumi, Mansour Hindi, Ahmed Ramadan, Ahmed El Sawy, Mohammed Abul Yazid, Reda Ragab, Nadia Mustafa, Saeed Omar, Hassan Fikri, Atef Imam and Mohamed el Sayed Tantawi were elected as members of the syndicate's board of directors.
