Lebanese Singer Waleed Tawfiq said that he prepared for a new song to celebrate the qualification of Egypt’s national team to the World Cup scheduled to be held in Russia in 2018 over a week ago to participate in the celebrations of the Egyptian people f their achievement.
He added that he extremely loves Egypt and deals with it as his country, saying that the Egyptian fans performed a major role to support him during his career since its beginning.
He added, in a statement to “Al Maghrib Today”, that he was keen to sing for his country during its fight against terrorism to express solidarity with the efforts exerted by the Lebanese government to eliminate this phenomenon threatening the national security of his country.
He expressed his pleasure for cooperating with a number of major poets, including Nizar Francis, saying that these songs were a turning point in his career.
