Saudi Aramco is participating as a diamond sponsor in the Annual Technical Symposium & Exhibition (ATS&E) of the Society of Petroleum Engineers — KSA section. The event is taking place in Dhahran Expo and will include various exhibitors, lectures, panel discussions and workshops in the field of petroleum engineering.
In addition to many subject matter experts from Saudi Aramco, the company is represented at the event by Mohammed Al-Qahtani, senior vice president of Upstream, who delivered a keynote speech at the opening of the symposium, and Nasir Al-Naimi, vice president of petroleum engineering & development, who will participate in an executive panel discussion.
Al-Qahtani said: “Saudi Aramco’s participation in the symposium is part of its continuous efforts in fostering communication and interaction among professionals within the oil & gas industry and the energy sector at large. We are glad to see this significant number of participants exchanging experience and knowledge here in Saudi Arabia.”
Petroleum engineers and experts from relevant areas attend the event every year. The ATS&E is regarded as a global event for disseminating knowledge, promoting ideas and seizing opportunities.
Recently, The Society of Petroleum Engineers elected Sami Al-Neaim, Saudi Aramco’s manager of petroleum engineering application support, as 2019 SPE president.
