Taif Municipality implemented, over the last eight years, about 59 different projects at a cost of more than SR 46 million for the development of Souq Okaz.
The Mayor of Taif, Engineer Mohamed Al-Mukhrij, said that there are significant changes affected Okaz market to receive visitors this year, pointing out that the projects that will be ready for this year include Folk Art amphitheater with a capacity of 2,000 people, in addition to infrastructure projects.
He further said that among the projects that have been implemented this year, new parking with capacity of more than 1000 vehicles, a park, and umbrellas in addition to the installation of more than 30 lampposts and lighting headlamps.
