His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed that the new vision of the role of the GCC member states in the global political system is considered as a positive development that reflects the echo and efficiency of the GCC efforts on the international security and economic scenes.
HRH the Prime Minister was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today a number of officials. He affirmed that Bahrain’s honourable stances towards various issues and its development and economic strides have earned it the place it deserves among countries. He asserted that boosting relations between Bahrain and brotherly and friendly countries through exchanging visits backs the kingdom’s trends to set up a solid cooperation basis with its regional and international surrounding in order to boost capability to confront international economic and security challenges.
HRH the Premier discussed with the audience local issues and lauded the role of the civil society institutions in backing the government’s efforts to optimize services. He also praised the role of educational institutions in preparing national competencies and grooming them to play a key part in the kingdom’s development march.
HRH the Prime Minister emphasised the kingdom’s rich civilizational and cultural heritage and the need to document it for the posterity as it relates success stories of the forefathers that serve as incentives to work for the nation and its prosperity.
