More than MAD 40,671 billion is reportedly being dedicated to aid with the educational sector expenses. It is considered the main beneficiary of the public budget’s funds for 2017.
Morocco’s Gazette recently published a selection of decrees showing the necessary funds that have been dedicated to cover the expenses of educational sector employees.
Decree N. 2.16.1010 will see funds allocated from the public budget to operate the public facilities, which are valued at MAD 187.743 billion.
For the Moroccan House of Representatives, the decrees specified MAD 425.108 million to cover the cost of servants and equipment. The House of Advisors will also benefit from a windfall worth MAD 251.085.
MAD 656.229 million is allocated for the prime minister, MAD 4.100 billion for the Ministry of Justice and Liberties, MAD 9.253 for the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, MAD 11.71 billion for the Ministry of Health, MAD 21.024 for the Ministry of Interior, MAD 2.356 billion for the Ministry of Cooperation and Foreign Affairs, and MAD 2.935 billion for the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
