Syrian regime forces have made major advance in Aleppo governorate after taking control of large swathes of southwestern Aleppo city, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Tuesday.
Large parts of the 1,070-department project have been recaptured by the regime forces that is still combing the area.
Retaking the project is deemed the most significant progress achieved by the regime forces since it has taken full control of al Ramosa area in the southern entrance of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, SOHR said that at least 120 people - including 26 Syrian soldiers and 30 citizens - were killed on Monday by regime airstrikes and bombardments.
