Clashes erupted on Tuesday between the Syrian army and militants at Bustan al-Basha area in northern Aleppo, sources told Russia Today TV channel.

No further details were given.

The clashes came a few hours after UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon urged Russia and the US to resume negotiations on Syria.
