Local Coordinating Committees of Syria (LCCSyria) said that 22 persons were killed on Tuesday in shelling of and clashes in different parts of Syria.
The US-based Alhurra channel quoted the committees as saying that the victims included children and women.
Meanwhile, Syrian activists said that areas in Rif Dimashq, Homs, Hama, Deraa and Deir al Zour were heavily shelled by regime and opposition forces.
