The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Monday that 17 people, including eight children, were killed due to air raids launched by unidentified jets on an overcrowded marketplace in Deir al Zor.

The planes, which are Syrian or Russian, targeted the market controlled by the Daesh terrorist group, Sky News quoted the SOHR as saying.
