Iraqi troops managed to regain control of the international road linking Iraq with Jordan.

The international road is leading to the Trebil border crossing between the two countries.

Iraqi Interior Minister Mohamed Salem El Ghabban, meanwhile, inspected security measures in al Rutbah town in Anbar after it was liberated from Daesh terrorist group. 

He praised efforts exerted by Iraqi servicemen to purge the city from Daesh terrorists.
