Iraqi security forces took control of a vital bridge in northern Al Baghdadi district in western Anbar governorate, the War Media Cell of the Joint Operations Command said in a statement on Wednesday. 

This comes as part of the military operation launched to liberate the vicinity of Al Baghdadi Island, the statement added.

Also, the Iraqi security troops shelled some sites of Daesh terrorists in areas located in Anbar governorate, leaving four Daesh militants dead and 12 others injured and destroying a Daesh site and three vehicles.
