An Iraqi civilian was killed and 10 others were injured in two separate explosions in the capital, Baghdad on Friday.

A roadside explosive device went off in western Baghdad, killing a person and injuring seven others, while three civilians were injured in another blast that hit a southwestern Baghdad district, a security source said.

Security forces and ambulances rushed to the two scenes that were cordoned off.
