Iraqi army troops thwarted on Monday a Daesh suicide attack in Makhmur district in northern Iraq.

The Iraqi troops killed five suicide bombers after clashes and foiled the attack, the Iraqi Defense Ministry said.

In Baghdad, an Iraqi man was killed and 11 others, including four policemen, injured in two separate bomb blasts.
