The US-led international coalition warplanes carried out 26 raids against Daesh terrorist group in Iraq and Syria.

About 25 raids were carried out near nine cities such as Fallujah, Mosul and Ramadi, Russia Today quoted a statement issued by the joint forces as saying.

The statement said also that hotbeds and weapons of the extremist organization were destroyed.

In Syria, the forces carried out one raid leaving five buildings belonging to Daesh damaged in northern the country.
