Hundreds of Iraqi protesters gathered in Tahrir Square in Baghdad, heeding a call by Shiite cleric Moqtada al Sadr.
The protesters called on parliament to complete a vote on a technocrat government.
They also shouted against corruption and demanded that basic services be provided.
The protesters raised Iraqi flags, as well as banners calling for trying corrupt officials and improving the economic and security situation in the country.
