A booby-trapped car exploded Thursday in al Shohadaa neighborhood in eastern Ramadi, the capital of Anbar governorate in western Iraq.

According to security and local sources, the explosion resulted in wounding seven civilians and a security guard.

The injured were moved to hospital to receive medical treatment, they added.
