Some 67 fighters of the terrorist group Daesh were killed in in joint operations between the Iraqi army and coalition troops on Monday in Anbar province west of Iraq.
The joint operations command said coalition aircraft carried out seven sorties destroying arms and ammunition belonging to the terrorist organization, as well as 8 vehicles including two car bombs.
Iraq has been in a state of chaos since the ouster of Saddam Hussein regime in 2003 where thousands of people were killed and wounded.
