International coalition aircraft struck on Sunday two vehicles belonging Daesh terrorist group in northern c in Anbar province west of Iraq.
Security sources said six terrorists were killed in the strikes while a leading Daesh member identified as Nofal Omar was also killed in Ninawa west-north of Iraq.
Earlier reports had said Daesh militants killed at least 24 members of the Kurdish security forces in a surprise attack in northern Iraq, in one of the deadliest single battles for the Kurds since last summer, according to Iraq sources.
