Thirty-five persons belonging to Daesh terrorist group were killed on Saturday during a shelling carried out by the jets of the international coalition near Baiji oil refinery in Salaheddin province, northern Iraq.
The Iraqi forces counteracted the attack that targeted the refinery. Two civilians were injured in the mortar shell attack on Salaheddin province.
The coalition's aircraft destroyed two vehicles driven by terrorists, according to local and security sources.
It also shelled Daesh premises leaving 30 persons belonging to the extremist organization killed.
The Iraqi forces also killed 15 terrorists near Baiji oil refinery, the sources noted, adding that the gunmen set fire to three tanks of crude oil.
