Baghdad - MENA
At least 28 people were killed and dozens injured by a car bomb targeting a market in Baghdad’s Sadr City district on Wednesday, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said.
Speaking to MENA, ministry spokesman Saad Maan said police patrols and an army unit foiled a bid to steal a money transfer car belonging to an exchange company in northern Baghdad.
One of the three-member gang was killed, while the two others were arrested, Maan said.
Unofficial statistics say that 64 were killed and 87 injured in today's explosion adopted by the terrorist group of Daesh.
