Two people were injured when an explosive device exploded in Al Shu'ala district in northern Baghdad, Brigadier General Saad Maan, the spokesman for the Baghdad Operations Command said on Wednesday.
The explosive charge was planted inside a car, he added.
The injured were moved to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to Maan.
