Two civilians were killed and five others injured after a roadside bomb went off southern Baghdad on Friday.
Ambulances rushed to the scene of the incident to move the dead and injured to hospital.
Baghdad has been plagued by suicide attacks through explosives and car bombs recently, as Daesh militants act to destabilize the city.
Meantime, Daesh militants shot dead five civilians in Al Huwaija district in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk, claiming they were collaborating with the Iraqi police and popular mobilization forces.
