International coalition warplanes carried out Sunday airstrikes against hideouts of Daesh terrorists southern Mosul in Ninawa Governorate.

The air raids left at least 16 terrorists killed, including Daesh leader Sheikh Ibrahim.

Meanwhile, Iraqi air forces shelled a Daesh checkpoint in Ramadi, leaving seven terrorists dead.
