Baghdad - KUNA
Eleven people were killed in two separate car explosions in east and west of Baghdad, said an Iraqi police source on Monday.
The car explosion occurred in the Meshtal neighborhood in eastern Baghdad that killed seven people and wounded 25 others, who were sent to hospital to receive treatment, the source told KUNA.
A parked car detonated in Al-Amiriya neighborhood, west Baghdad, killing four people and injuring 11 others, the source added.
Initial reports suggest that both attacks were carried out by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) to disrupt local security, it noted.
