Tripoli - Arab Today
Clashes have erupted between the Libyan army and militants of the Sudan Liberation movement in Kafra city in southeastern Libya, a member of the outgoing Libyan General National Congress said on Sunday.
Up to 50 people were killed and 15 others injured in the face-off, El Snoosy El Qoumy said.
He added that the clashes erupted after the Sudanese militants blocked roads in Kufra and terrorized residents.
He called for more security coordination to uproot such "foreign armed groups".
