As many as 27 soldiers of Libya's special forces have been killed and 36 more injured in clashes with troops of the Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries over the past month.
The injuries were light and moderate, said Col. Mayloud al Zawi, the spokesman for the special forces, in statements to MENA Wednesday.
Zawi condoled with families of the dead soldiers and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
