Six people, including a pro-government tribal leader, were killed today in a roadside bomb explision in Pajur province in northwest pakistan near the Afghan border.
Local officials said an improvised explosive charge, place on the side of the road, went off as the car of tribal leader Malik Mohamed Jan passed by, killing him along with five other people.
Malik Mohammad Jan, was a prominent leader in local society heading anti-Taliban efforts. No organization claimed responsibility for the incident.
