Security forces killed 39 militants in an operation in Orakzai and Khyber Agency tribal area of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan on Monday. According to media reports, the forces struck Terah area of Khyber Agency by jet planes killing 11 militants and destroying four hideouts. Eight suspected militants were killed and three hideouts were destroyed in Mamozai area of Upper Orazkzai. The operation started in morning and security forces carried a search operation in the area.
