South Korean stocks ended 0.15 percent lower on Wednesday as foreigners scaled back their holdings amid lingering geopolitical risks, analysts said. The local currency gained against the U.S. dollar. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) fell 2.93 points to 1,983.22. Trading volume was moderate at 383.2 million shares worth 4.1 trillion won (US$3.7 billion), with decliners outnumbering gainers 417 to 399.
