The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 117.35 points or 1.41% to 8,217.32 points from the previous closing of 8,334.67. The volume of shares traded was up to 6,836,312 from 6,038,163 on Sunday, and the value of shares increased to QR257,091,880.29 from QR188,293,158.99 Sunday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 2.07% to QR137.00, Industries Qatar fell 2.55% to QR134.00, Comm. Bank of Qatar lost 2.58% to QR68.00 and Qatar Barwa Real Estate down 1.14% to QR30.25. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 202.20 and the Insurance sector fell 77.79 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 162.36 points and the Services sector was down 45.51 points.
