The Qatar Exchange was down on Tuesday 11.77 points or 0.14% to 8,633.40 points from the previous closing of 8,645.17. The volume of shares traded was fell to 6,877,284 from 7,874,851 on Monday, and the value of shares rose to QR274,418,686.26 from QR257,439,966.28 Monday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 0.95% to QR146.10, Barwa Real Estate lost 1.04% to QR33.40, Electricity and Water lost 1.02% to QR145.50 and United Dev. Companyfell 1.12% to QR22.03. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 12.82 points while the Insurance sector added 51.86 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 31.28 points and the Services sector fell 25.93 points.
