Huawei, a leading global ICT solutions provider, kicked off Huawei Day 2016 on Dec. 19 at the Riyadh Ritz Carlton Hotel. Themed “Building a Better Connected Saudi Arabia,” the event showcased the role ICT is playing in driving digital transformation and building sustainable knowledge-based economies.
Bringing together more than 600 IT professionals from the Kingdom, Huawei Day 2016 showcased how Huawei’s collaborative platforms are driving ground-breaking innovations across various sectors including hospitality, real estate, banking, education, utilities, smart home and smart office; and enabling organizations in Saudi Arabia to succeed in their digital transformation, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
“In line with Vision 2030 and Huawei’s commitment to support it, we are committed to providing a platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing that will promote technology innovation and growth in various industries. We are working with STC in Saudi Arabia to deliver new ICT solutions in support of various industrial concerns, and we are keen to further work with partners to accelerate the Kingdom’s digital transformation,” said Ramadan Ding, CEO, Huawei KSA.
Live demos, conference tracks and discussions brought to light how Huawei’s latest technology innovations are contributing to building sustainable, smart cities of the future. Huawei global executives delivered keynote addresses on agile networking, cloud computing and a digitized KSA. Key Huawei partners such as SAP shared case examples of organizations that are driving their business on Huawei’s collaborative infrastructure.
Huawei Day 2016 reinforced the company’s commitment to customers and partners across the Kingdom to accelerate the digital transformation and build a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
