The growth of South Korea\'s money supply inched up in July as bank lending remained firm and the current account surplus widened, the central bank said Wednesday. The country\'s M2, a narrow measure of its money supply, reached 1,705.5 trillion won (US$1.6 trillion) in July, up 3.2 percent from a year earlier, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
