The Egyptian Iron and Steel Co. has launched an international bid to rehabilitate the company.

Tenders should be submitted on July 18, said Ashraf el Sharqawy, the minister of the public business sector Monday. 

A technical study about the needs of the company has already been outlined, Sharqawy noted. 

This comes as part of a plan to financially, administratively and technically restructure the company, he said.
