Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the special adviser to Defense Minister Prince Salman, yesterday opened the exhibition titled \"Reconstruction after the earthquake that struck Japan: Photographs.\" The Embassy of Japan hosted the event, in cooperation with King Abdul Aziz Foundation at King Abdul Aziz Memorial Hall at Darah of King Abdul Aziz, in the presence of the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom Shigeru Endo and officials from the embassy and five of the Japanese who lived through the earthquake disaster that hit northeastern Japan in March of last year. A set of pictures shows the human tragedy and environmental catastrophe that hit Japan and the international sympathy. They also reflect the Kingdom\'s contribution to the reconstruction of Japan. The exhibition will last for 10 days and will introduce the methods and means Japan used to overcome this disaster. The pictures show the civil and emotional repercussions of the ordeal and the ability to recover and get up again. The King Abdul Aziz Foundation’s cooperation in organizing this exhibition come in the documentary role in the monitoring of important news and documentation of Saudi and humanitarian efforts in the framework of humanitarian principles imposed by the great Islam, and within the Darah’s cultural programs to the community.
