Two volumes of al-Farazdaq (ca 641-728 or 730 CE, Iraq) classical Arabic poetry combined in one book. Al-Farazdaq was a Bedouin poet known for his satirical verse and his on-going feud with his contemporary, the poet Jarir. He was a poet during the Umayyad Caliphate and served at the court.
