FESTIVitaly will be launched in Amman on October 14 to mark the occasion of the XII Week of the Italian Language in the World, a statement from the Italian embassy said today. It will showcase Italian food products organized by the Italian Embassy, the Italian Trade Commission and Cozmo. Te opening of the event, launched by the Italian Ambassador Francesco Fransoni and CEO of THE Group Mr. Imad Bukhari, will include a music performance by the quartet of the prestigious chamber orchestra \'\'I Solisti Aquilani \'\' and a cooking show by the Vivace Restaurant Chef Luca Moriconi with tastings. The 7 day-event at Cozmo that will follow, features the participation of the Italian Cultural Centre \'\'Societa\' Dante Alighieri\'\', Four Seasons\' Italian Restaurant \'\'Vivace\'\' , Darwazeh Motors - exclusive dealer for Piaggio Group in Jordan and Albina & Hanna, agent for the premium coffee illy. On the same day, at 7 p.m. at the Royal Cultural Center, the string quartet from \'\'I Solisti Aquilani\'\' orchestra will offer the audience a special program focused on the most famous Italian soundtracks\' melodies, composed by Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani. This performance will provide an ideal introduction to the Italian Film Festival that is taking place in the following days, from 15 to 17 October, at 7 p.m. at the Royal Cultural Center. The film program will include: La dolce vita (Federico Fellini, 1960, screened on October 15), A fistful of dollars (Sergio Leone, 1964, screened on October 16) and \'\'Il Postino\'\' (Massimo Troisi - Michael Radford, 1994, screened on October 17). As a closing event, Darwazeh Motors, the exclusive dealer for Piaggio Group in Jordan, will have their grand opening on the 18th of October in Amman. On the occasion, they will present the famous Italian motorcycle and scooter brands of: Vespa, Piaggio, Moto Guzzi and Aprilia. Symbols of Italian style and technology all around the world, these icons reached cult status within half of a century and deeply marked the history and the fashion trends of the Country. Through an integrated cultural - commercial promotion, the Festival aims at displayin the wide range of the expressions of Italian creativity and rich cultural heritage.
