A police captain was wounded while trying to contain clashes that erupted during a football match in Matrouh.
Verbal clashes broke out between administrative staffers of Hamam and Tahdi football teams at the youths center in Hamam that soon degenerated into stone-throwing.
Police intervened to contain the clashes, wounding a police captain.
All players and referees were secured till getting out of the court.
