Clashes re-erupted on Saturday between Sudanese forces and Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) forces in South Darfur governorate, Brigadier Adel Omran told Ashorouk TV station.

The forces killed a number of JEM members and seized six vehicles, he added.

Three members of the Sudanese military were killed during the clashes, he further said.
