China's Fu Yuanhui won the women's 50m backstroke gold at the world swimming championships on Thursday.
Fu clocked 27.11 seconds to win the final with Brazil's Etiene Medeiros taking silver at 0.15sec and China's Liu Xiang earned bronze at 0.47.
Australia's Emily Seebohm, who won the 100m backstroke world gold on Tuesday, finished fourth.
