Bamako - Arab Today
The Algerian football team arrived Monday night in Bamako, to take on Mali’s team on Wednesday for the sixth and final round of African Cup of Nations qualifiers CAN-2015.
Led by the President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua, the Algerian delegation was welcomed by members of the Algerian embassy to Mali.
Christian Gourcuff's men will conduct on Tuesday (at 4 p.m. local time, 5 p.m. Algerian time) their single training session at the stadium of March 26 which will host the match.
Second of Group B with Malawi (6 pts each), behind Algeria tops the group with 15 points, Mali have doomed to win against the Greens to secure their berth at the CAN 2015 of Guinea Equatorial (January 17-February 8).
One misstep by the teammates of Seydou Keita combined with a victory of Malawi against Ethiopia in the other match of the group, could cost them the qualification.
