Hristo Stoichkov has been named as coach of Bulgarian champions Litex Lovech. The four-time league champions confirmed the appointment of the former Barcelona striker on their official website. The 45-year-old, a former European Footballer of the Year, is a legend in Bulgaria, having led them to the semi-finals of the 1994 FIFA World Cup™ in USA. His last job as a coach was a stint with South African side Mamelodi Sundowns, which finished in 2010.
